Welcome to the St. Mark's Educational Society, in Hyderabad. Our community is diverse and dynamic, welcoming families every year from all over. We understand the challenges and opportunities of making an international move and the complexities of moving a child from a homely atmosphere to one with an School Culture.

We’re happy to answer your questions over the phone or via email. But the best way to learn about us is to schedule a visit to the School – we'd love to show you around. For families coming from Everywhere or other schools, the classrooms here will feel familiar and friendly, and you'll have the chance to see just how effectively "new kids" settle in and become "old hands." You'll also understand how lucky we are to have the location we do, and why we work so hard to bring Education into our curriculum and to bring our students into education.

Admissions policy

The St. Mark's Educational Society provides a rigorous curriculum to students from a wide range of options who are interested in pursuing an outstanding education with a global perspective.

We admit qualified applicants who will thrive and contribute positively to the life of the School, and we make every effort to offer admission to qualified siblings. To be successful at S.M.H.S, students must be comfortable in an academically challenging environment and exhibit personal integrity and community responsibility. We are committed to creating a diverse school community that appreciates and respects differences.

 St. Mark's Educational Society also offers learning support for high potential students with mild‐to‐moderate learning differences. However, we are unable to offer admission to students of lower ability or those with serious learning difficulties.

 How to apply

We welcome applications from students of all background, who are able to meet the demands of an academic curriculum. Students are selected to enter the School on the basis of past school records, teacher recommendations, standardized testing scores and applicant questionnaire. In making admissions decisions, we offer places to those students whose experiences and records indicate they will succeed in the School's academic programs. Some students may be asked to come to St. Mark's Educational Society for an assessment. Admission of students with learning difficulties is limited by the availability of services to meet their educational needs.

Parents are encouraged to submit the application for admission as soon as possible. Applications must be completed by submitting the information outlined below. Completed applications are reviewed by the admissions committee and the applicant's parents are notified of the decision. If places are not available.

We continue to process applications received after notifying the Admission in Progress, but applications that are completed before are reviewed first. Applications submitted late should be completed within 2 weeks.
